The Plunderers

By Michael Coughlin

Exposing the fraud of “humanitarian” piracy

Some people parade their piracy behind the mask of humanitarianism and they deserve to be exposed for the frauds they are.  Slavery in the United States was legally abolished in the 19th Century, but even so it is standard fare today and practiced routinely by the political crowd when they make it possible for so many live off the labor of others.

When two young women tell a radio interviewer that it was the responsibility of the “government” to make sure their grandmother had enough food, the author decided to ask what was wrong with them looking out for their own beloved grandmother.  When did it become someone else’s responsibility to care for her?  And what does it say about these young women that they willingly pass that opportunity to tend to family off onto strangers?
