Joseph Labadie created a remarkable legacy in his little print shop in the woods of Michigan. Working with his hand-set type and small press and using whatever came to hand in the way of paper and bookbinding materials, the Labadie family produced a small library of memorable little books. His works were eventually donated to the University of Michigan Library where they are housed in a special collection. I sorted through many of his books and pamphlets and selected a representative sample of his writings to incliude in Jo Labadie & His Little Books. This book became my tribute to a man who helped inspire me to follow in his footsteps.
I pick up postage expenses for any books shipped in the United States. Foreign cusomers, please inquire about shipping rates because sometimes those can be frightening.
