Kluge Press used to print letterpress books

I thought some of you might be interested in seeing a video of one of my Kluge presses — the workhorse of my press room — in action.  These American-made presses are marvels to watch in action; a genuine symphony of gears and cams and arms and rollers, all choreographed to the pumping and blowing vacuum pump.  The machine is an engineering masterpiece that was created in St. Paul, Minnesota and which continue to be made in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

If you would like to watch this Kluge press operating, you can do so here:  https://youtu.be/giTx2cp9qEE

Until later . . .
